Electric Tenor Ukulele
This one is only cosmetic and for playing comfort.
I started using this instrument in my song JumpingFleas, factory settings.
It was lovely to play, and I enjoyed the pickups, but the body shape stopped me from playing in the instrument’s high register.
I chopped the top horn and made a Jaguar body shape, freeing the neck completely. I utilized my fabric technic to hide the wood job.
The fabric technic is fantastic; it looks incredible and is easy to do. You can do a ruff sanding and even have a far-from-perfect lacquer finish, and it doesn’t matter. If the fabric looks nice, the instrument will be nice too.
While trying to do a random one-color painting requires a perfect job. The slightest scratch or orange peel in the lacquer ruins it all. And when the work is excellent, the guitar looks ordinary.
