Layouts for perf and PCB effects: Ibanez MT10 Mostortion
[ad_1]
It’s New Years Eve and time for the final layout of 2019 and I’m pretty sure it’s the 800th on the blog! So here is the mostortion. Why is it called that? The core of the CA3260E operational amplifier is based on MOSFET. Unfortunately, this chip has been discontinued so making a straight clone can be a little tricky, but a regular dual opamp like a JRC4558 or TL072 will work just fine too. It’s pretty similar to a TS10, only with a MOSFET chip and a 3-band EQ, which is pretty handy. Scheme and further information Here. Should be able to squeeze it into a 1590B.
