The British had a long love affair with the American blues. As a lifelong resident of Chicago, I was surprised to discover in the 1960s at the age of 13 that the music I was listening to from England (mostly electric blues played by Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Eric Clapton) was originally from my hometown. albeit the “other side of the tracks”.

Good examples of how the songs should sound – and of course an experienced performer. While this is for the advanced player, if you know your basic chords and are ready to make the effort, you will be sure to get there. The video is polished and while it wasn’t recorded in a studio, it is very good. Easy to see what he’s doing.
